Styled sessions make my heart sing.

I was so honored to have this beautiful family of 5 trust me to style them for their maternity session. We went with 2 looks which were completely different from one another. I love how versatile, optimistic, and easy going mom was durning the process.

Their session was originally planned to be held in Palm Springs so I wanted to go towards the fun boho look. I kept this in mind while brainstorming their outfits. When the actual session date approached it ended up pouring rain… and I might have cried a little. We attempted to plan another date for their shoot at the same location but cards didn’t play out right so we made new plans for a new location and happily went with it. These images are shot in downtown San Juan Capistrano.

The first look was aimed to be natural and soft. I really wanted to embrace the pure moments of mom growing baby number 3 and I didn’t want to take away from her perfect little baby belly.

The second look was intentionally made to be edgy, fun, and different. Which I think we nailed!!
